The physical assessment consists of the detailed collection of data, with the aim of prescribing the most appropriate and personalized training possible for our client. Some of the data relates to lifestyle, previous and current training experiences, health problems, and goals to be achieved with physical exercise. Flexibility tests, postural assessment, strength and muscle endurance, as well as cardiorespiratory fitness are also performed.
Body composition, hydration, muscle mass, and fat mass, including visceral fat, are also analyzed; this is essential data for predicting the risk of associated pathologies.
Importance of Physical Assessment
- Helps in identifying health problems;
- It allows you to identify which type of training best suits the individual's needs and physical condition;
- It prevents injuries resulting from improper exercise;
- It allows you to track the evolution of your physical condition and understand when it will be necessary to do something.

Release of endorphins (neurotransmitters that improve mood), improved sleep quality, reduced risk of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and obesity.

STRENGTH TRAINING
Strength training, also known as weight training, aims to increase strength, endurance, and muscle mass (hypertrophy). It includes exercises with machines, dumbbells,
Functional training equipment and bodyweight exercises are important for maintaining bone health, as they help increase bone density, thus preventing osteoporosis, a factor that is especially important in women.Strength training improves posture and flexibility, helps prevent injuries, and is a key factor in preventing the loss of muscle mass and strength (sarcopenia), a direct consequence of aging. It is relevant in weight control and fat reduction by increasing calorie expenditure and resting metabolic rate.

FLEXIBILITY TRAINING
Flexibility is the ability to perform movements with maximum joint range of motion, passively or actively. This training consists of performing stretching exercises with the aim of increasing the length of a muscle or muscle group in order to relieve joint and muscle tension. Flexibility training helps improve muscle recovery, minimize joint stiffness, and prepare the muscle for physical exercise.
